IRAs

Planning for the future is an important step toward your financial security.  Look into the advantages of a Traditional IRA, Roth IRA or Coverdell Educational Savings Account (ESA) from INOVA.  Investing in an IRA or ESA from INOVA will give you more for your money.  With a Traditional IRA, all dividends are tax-deferred until they are withdrawn.  The Roth IRA and Coverdell ESA are tax-free, including dividends.  And, your savings are safe at INOVA.  The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures the combined total of your Traditional and Roth IRAs for up to $250,000.  The Coverdell ESA and other savings are insured separately for at least $250,000 through the NCUSIF.  IRA contribution limits have increased, making an IRA an even more attractive savings option.  Consult your personal tax advisor for more information about which IRA is right for you.
